Ise-Jingu National Dedicatory Fireworks Festival

Ise-Jingu National Dedicatory Fireworks Festival is one of the three biggest fireworks competition festivals in Japan.
This is a historic festival which marks its 66th anniversary this year.

This fireworks festival is held relatively earlier than others, and it is where selected pyrotechnicians from around Japan dedicate their fireworks to Ise-Jingu and pit their skills against each other.

 

For pyrotechnicians, Ise-Jingu is also the place where they pray for their safety for the year.

Date & Time

(Sat) 14th July 2018, 19:15 - 21:00
In case of heavy rain, strong wind or flood, the festival will be postponed to
Saturday 8th September or Sunday 9th September.

Venue

Around Miyagawa Tsutsumi Park, Ise City, Mie Prefecture

Access

Temporary Shuttle buses will operate from "Iseshi" station (JR・Kintestu line) and "Ujiyamada" station (Kintetsu line) to the park. 

5~20 minutes' walk from the nearest bus station (depending on the location where you watch the fireworks).

Around 30 minutes' walk from "Iseshi" station to the fireworks venue.

Buses depart from 5PM return from 8PM to 30 minutes after the end of the festival. As there will be traffic regulations and expected congestion, we recommend visitors to use public transportation (Train+ bus or walk).
